This role is critical to ensure the safety of our job sites and the effective management of company assets.

Job Description:
The Asset/Safety Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the safety protocols and asset management processes across multiple job sites. The ideal candidate will ensure that all safety regulations are adhered to, while also managing the inventory, maintenance, and allocation of construction equipment and materials. This position plays a key role in supporting both the operational and safety goals of Jamison Construction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and monitor safety procedures to ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
  • Conduct regular safety audits, site inspections, and toolbox talks to promote a safe working environment.
  • Manage and track company assets, including equipment, tools, and materials, ensuring proper inventory and maintenance.
  • Coordinate the logistics of asset allocation between job sites, ensuring timely delivery and efficient use of resources.
  • Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to ensure safety and asset management protocols are followed.
  • Assist in the development and enforcement of job-specific safety plans and risk assessments.
  • Investigate incidents or near-misses and recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance schedules, and safety training.
  • Work closely with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure safety standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide safety training and education to employees and subcontractors as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience in asset management and/or construction safety coordination, preferably in concrete construction.
  • Familiarity with OSHA standards and safety compliance practices.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple job sites and assets simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with employees, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Proficiency in using asset management and safety reporting software.
  • Ability to conduct safety training and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Detail-oriented and proactive in identifying potential safety hazards or asset management issues.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • OSHA 30-Hour Certification or equivalent.
  • Experience in concrete construction safety and asset management.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
