commercial concrete Superintendent

Reputable and growing commercial concrete company based in Marietta, and specializing in commercial, manufacturing, industrial, multi-family, entertainment, and medical, seeks to hire an experienced Concrete Superintendent with a minimum of 5 years’ experience. Overseeing self-perform work and subcontract labor, you must have experience with tilt walls, elevated decks, and total station, and any experience with Post Tension considered a plus.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Manage a team of workers, including project schedules, project progress and material allocation
• Create cost estimates for supplies, material, and other project costs
• Communicate with Clients, Project Managers, and other members of project management to determine budget and timeline
• Coordinate material and equipment deliveries with vendors and suppliers
• Create project schedules
• Assign work accordingly
• Maintain daily log for the jobsite operations
• Implement management techniques that are cost-effective and efficient

Qualifications include but are not limited to:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience with a commercial concrete company
• Valid Driver’s License
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of construction equipment, including safe operating practices
• Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
• Effective leadership skills
• Excellent organizational skills, including time management, delegation, prioritization, and multitasking
